Become a Volunteer or Mentor

Volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club of Livingston County is a rewarding experience that gives you the opportunity to have a direct impact on the youth we serve. We are always looking for skilled and passionate volunteers who would like to share those skills and passion with our youth.

Mentoring is huge part of what we do at Boys & Girls Club of Livingston County. It takes just one caring adult to have an impact on a youth’s life. We provide mentoring services on a one-on-one or small group basis. As a mentee, youth are matched with an adult mentor and commit to meeting with them at the Club at least 4 times a month. During mentoring sessions, kids and teens work with their mentors in developing goals and navigating the path to achieving them. If interested, contact Jordan Hornickel at jhornickel@bgclivingston.org or call (815) 842-3089.

Steps to enroll youth in our Mentoring program:

  1. Register as a Club Member

  2. Complete the Mentee Application

  3. Complete the Parent/Guardian Consent

  4. Contact Jordan and set up a time to meet!
