Parent Advisory Council

Purpose of Council

The Parent Advisory Council is committed to supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Livingston County by increasing parent and volunteer participation to support the Club Experience our children have when attending the Club, as well as creating fun family events that reinforce family and community.

Council Objectives

  • Volunteer (if available) at Club hosted events.

  • Plan and host family events for little to no cost.

  • Gather feedback from surveys, focus groups, small group discussions, etc. and present to leadership team.

  • Share personal experiences (mission moments) at board meetings.

  • HAVE FUN!

Council Member REquirements

Council members are asked to serve a one year-term. In order to join the council, you must be a past or current parent of a Club member, attend meetings, volunteer in some capacity during your term and discuss and plan events when applicable.
